Overview:
We are seeking a Retail Construction Project Manager with significant experience in the planning, execution, and completion of construction and remodeling projects for supercenters with grocery stores, such as Walmart, Target, etc. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated track record of managing large-scale retail projects, proficiency in using Procore construction software, and a commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage all aspects of supercenter construction projects from inception to completion.
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and other construction professionals to design, plan, and implement the project.
Monitor and supervise onsite construction activities to ensure quality and timely execution.
Ensure that all project objectives, including budget, timeline, quality, and client expectations, are met, or exceeded.
Use Procore construction software for project management, coordination, documentation, and reporting purposes.
Maintain effective communication with stakeholders including clients, subcontractors, suppliers, and team members.
Oversee project financials, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
Ensure compliance with all safety standards, local building codes, and regulations.
Address any challenges or issues that arise, seeking solutions in a proactive and efficient manner.
Provide weekly updates and periodic reports to senior management regarding project status and progress.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in construction management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in managing construction or remodeling projects for supercenters with grocery stores.
Proficient in using Procore construction software.
Strong understanding of the construction industry, including current trends, materials, and regulations.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and deliver results under tight deadlines.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Problem-solving aptitude with a keen eye for detail.
